Angelica Romano

Prior to joining Glenbrook High School D225 as the Executive Director of Human Resources, Angelica Romano was the Executive Director of Human Resources at West Chicago Elementary School District 33 for the past 7 years. In her role, Angelica enjoyed making a difference in the lives of the students by attracting high-quality staff, as well as developing meaningful relationships with the staff, union leadership, and the community she served. Angelica holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Northeastern University, a Master's degree in Human Resource Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, a Professional Educator License with a Chief School Business Official endorsement from Northern Illinois University and is currently enrolled in the Ed.D. program in Ethical Leadership through Olivet Nazarene. Angelica was born and raised in Mexico. She immigrated to the United States as a teenager with her family of four. Angelica is a visionary leader who dreams big and believes in the community, staff, and students she serves. In a non-COVID year, you can find Angelica traveling the world as she has visited 6 of the 7 continents and 6 of the 7 wonders of the world. During a COVID year, you can find Angelica relaxing with her husband Mario and her two dogs Coco and Pebbles.
