Matthew Swift

Matthew M. Swift is a member of the labor and employment practice group, counseling employers on employee discipline, employment contracts, wage and hour laws, and discrimination matters under the ADA, FMLA, ADEA, Illinois Human Rights Act, Title VII, and other anti-discrimination laws. He also assists with labor relations matters, including grievances and collective bargaining. Matthew advises public-sector and education clients on issues unique to their sectors, including compliance with FOIA, the Open Meetings Act, the First Amendment, and Title IX, and regularly handles complex FOIA requests and board governance questions.
